If you’re in need of financial support to complete repairs to your home, Ceredigion County Council host a range of grants to assist homeowners of the county. Further information on specific grants and their eligibility criteria can be found here:

Disabled Adaptions
Various grants are available to support the residents of Ceredigion to maintain independence within their own homes.
Disabled Facilities Grants are available to adapt a property to suit the particular needs of a disabled person who resides at a property. Assistance is given to:
- Facilitate access.
- Provide suitable facilities.
- Make a building safe for use.
- Make environmental improvements to enable the disabled person to safely live in their home.
Safe, Warm and Secure grants are available for smaller adaptions and equipment required to enable a person to maintain independence in their own home. Eligible works include:
- Steps, minor ramping
- Grabrails or handrails
- Bathlift
- Level taps
The above are only examples of what the grant can be used for.
Anyone considered by an Occupational Therapist to require qualifying works can apply for either of the above grants.
