Cenarth
Ceredigion County Council is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the installation of a purpose-built boardwalk along the River Teifi in Cenarth.
The scheme was funded through the Council’s capital programme and a grant from the Welsh Governments Enabling Natural Resources and Wellbeing fund. A donation was also received from Beulah Community Council.
Improving the path width and surface has increased access to a wider cross-section of residents and visitors and is a testament to the Council’s commitment in targeting the removal of barriers to accessing the countryside and applying the least restrictive access principles.
Local volunteers have been instrumental to the success of the project both in the initial construction process and in helping to maintain the boardwalk for the enjoyment of future generations.
Donations toward the future management and development of the boardwalk can also be made on our Online Payments page.
